MECHANICAL DATA

Dimensions
Standard sensing length "L" = 250mm, 500mm, 750mm and 1000mm other lengths are available - contact factory. Minimum inside tank depth dimension "D" see table Minimum liquid level sensed 40mm Dead space at top "Y" 50mm Float diameter 55mm max. Stem diameter 12mm.

Mounting
Vertical - ½" BSP clearance. Maximum tank wall thickness of 4mm.

Wetted Materials
316L stainless steel.

Sensor Head
Aluminium.

ELECTRICAL DATA

Electrical Supply
15VDC to 24VDC at 24mA.

Temperature Stability
Offset drift ± 2µV / 0C.

Output
4 to 20mA into 500R minimum, at rated supply voltage.

4 way terminal block. 2 supply and 2 output.

 

MEASUREMENT ACCURACY

Due to the variability of components and other factors outside our control, in certain circumstances the output of this sensor may be non-monotonic.

If this could cause a problem in your application please call our technical sales department to discuss ways of managing the effect.

Example: LVCS-3 describes a sensor suitable for a tank (inside dimensions) of depth 870mm minimum with an active length of 750mm capable of measuring liquid levels to a resolution of 5mm in the range of liquid levels from 40mm to 790mm measured inside the tank.
